This is a good sparring knife, especially for hand-to-hand combat. It is a bit too soft for use with full sparring gear because the opponent often cannot feel the presence of the "blade" through heavy padding. I would recommend wood rather than rubber, if you plan to use it for armoured sparring.

Reçu en silver. Durement tendre pour supporter les estoc et pour travailler. On est clairement pas sur la rigidité coldsteel mais elle semble être utilisable en sparring au moins elle

The daggers I received have an off-gray color, mimicking the color of steel, as opposed to the all black example shown on the site. Otherwise the quality of the simulator is fantastic. Good grip, the blunt tip of the blade does offer a lot of safety during training and sparring. Another aspect that contributes to the safety of this dagger is the flex that it has in its blade near the tip. Overall, I am very satisfied with the product! It's a lot of fun to (safely) poke your friends in the ribs
