Finally available - the ARCEM full arm protectors.

Sold as pairs

You saw a prototype in Dijon 2018. It took us a while to get it right with our producer, but here they are!

They can be ordered with the ARCEM Jackets, which now include mounting points at the shoulders and elbows specifically for these protectors.

But, they can also be worn without the points on any HEMA jacket or gambeson thanks to the carefully places velcro straps.

The several arm plates have a range of overlap. The maximum recommended arm length is 70 cm and the minimum is 54 cm.

There is no real customisation available on our side but some people have found that by separating the upper arm/ shoulder and the lower arm / elbow units (cutting the connection strap) can help to fix sizing adjustment and preferred placement on the arm and elbow.

Met our requirements and is a very good add on to our Arcem Jackets

It was written that these protectors I have ordered would fit the Arcem jacket well. However, the straips are to short or my arms are too long and the shoulder protection doesn’t protect shoulders. I have previously ordered Arcem jacket and it has no shoulder protection. And these arm Protectors doesn’t protect the collar bone. Dissatisfied with the product. Will need to cut it and make custom belts to make it fit properly. Btw shoulder protector vecro straps are too short.

Anthony was so kind to let me test these at Fechtterra 2019. After some adjustments to my personal preference, it has kept me from quite some harm. When you are looking to spar a bit stronger or go into a tournament with an Arcem jacket or something similar, this is an addition worthy of your consideration.

Overall the arm protectors are really good and lightweight with lots of mobility. I'd recommend these (just the forearm and elbow, lower arm) if you want something better than the SPES elbow and Vectir/Geko combination. They protect very well, with hits from a longsword feeling like a tap but with an audible plastic clack, which means if you didn't feel the hit you most certainly heard it. Because I am quite short the protectors don't exactly fit well on me. The elbow overlaps with the forearm plate although there isn't much issue in mobility when that happens. The upper arm, however, has the straps overlap with each other because of how short my arms are and thus is quite firm there. This can easily be fixed by not strapping in the top protector to my arm and only having it attached from the top of the jacket, although because I have a SPES AP Light there currently is no way to do this until I attach some kind of fixture/arming point for it. The forearm plate also could fit more tightly to my arm, this can be fixed by having the main plate be a cm or two smaller however this isn't much of a problem. The main thing I'd like is a strap at the bottom of the forearm so that you can tighten that bit as well as the top.
