These gloves are perfect for technical fencing, and provide a balance between protection and mobility.

Very supple and dexterous, they are ideal for sabre, messer, dussack and rapier.

We also recommend them for shield work (buckler, viking, heater). While light, they can be used for light, controlled training at longsword.

Our Carbon Gloves are available in two versions:

  • The short glove which just covers the wrist
  • The long glove, which covers the forearm to the elbow and is tailored to fit over a HEMA jacket.

Ordered the gloves to have more protection than just plain leather gloves for more open sabre/rapier guards. Followed the sizing chart for the gloves and they fit very snug but not uncomfortable - with some use they will get into shape. Overall impression: A very good glove, especially for this price that allows for flexibility with one handed weapons and is protecting critical areas that non-HEMA gloves (i.e. Lacrosse gloves, etc) dont consider.

Gloves are okay, however roughly finished. Lining is visible through the stitching in several places.

Ma deuxième paire. Les coutures peuvent être fragiles lorsqu'elles sont soumises à des entrainements intensifs avec beaucoup de transpiration. La protection des doigts reste le gros point à améliorer. Ceci dit, c'est le meilleur rapport qualité/prix du marché.
