This rondel dagger is designed to remain rigid horizontally for proper application of technique. On the thrust however, the spring loaded collapsable construction adds a significant amount of safety to your practice.
Like all martial arts trainers, this is not a toy and minimum protection of sensitive areas is strongly recommended : face, throat and groin at a minimum for men. Additional chest protection for women is also recommended.
